Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing and HVAC system understanding.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with building codes and safety regulations.

Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our premier team at Premier Genesee, a 160-bed facility located in Batavia, New York. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility, providing a comfortable and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to our operations
• Assist with the installation and repair of equipment and fixtures, including but not limited to doors, windows, and appliances
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to optimize our facilities and services

Maintenance Technician Requirements:
