Job summary

Premier Genesee in Batavia, NY is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our state-of-the-art facility. You will perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to keep residents and staff safe and comfortable.

Collaborate with other departments, maintain work orders, and assist with equipment installation and repairs. Prior maintenance experience preferred, and knowledge of building codes and safety regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to our operations
• Assist with the installation and repair of equipment and fixtures, including but not limited to doors, windows, and appliances
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to optimize our facilities and services
