Job summary

Chicago Anodizing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of anodizing equipment, including wiring, blowers, hoists, and electrical boxes. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, ability to read schematics, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision while ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician (industrial setting preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Works independently with minimal supervision and makes sound decisions.
• Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks: inspect, clean, lubricate equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues or hazards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Position Overview: Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. You will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our anodizing equipment, including wiring, blowers, hoists, and electrical boxes, through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician for at least 3 years (Preferably Industrial setting)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• HVAC certified.
