Job summary

Chicago Anodizing Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold the reliability of our anodizing equipment. You will maintain wiring, blowers, hoists, and electrical boxes through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

You'll read schematics, diagnose issues, and work independently to minimize downtime. The role requires physical stamina and strong problem-solving, with HVAC certification as a plus and bilingual ability a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Position Overview: Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. You will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our anodizing equipment, including wiring, blowers, hoists, and electrical boxes, through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or hazards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician for at least 3 years (Preferably Industrial setting)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• HVAC certified.
