Job summary

Clarendale Six Corners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of residential apartments and campus public areas through timely repairs and preventive maintenance. You will perform tasks using general maintenance skills, and collaborate with the Maintenance team to keep buildings in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include routine and emergency repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC support), completing work orders with details, and assisting with snow removal and supply

Qualifications

• Knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• HVAC knowledge or experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Capable of working under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas (electrical, plumbing, doors/locks, painting).
• Assists in HVAC system troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Responds to emergency calls for system or equipment failure.
• Completes work orders with detailed task and equipment information.
• Assists other maintenance staff with campus tasks, including snow removal.
• Maintains proper levels of materials and supplies for timely task completion.

Clarnedale Six Corners is recruiting for Maintenance Technician. In this role you will be responsibleand accountable for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus.

Salary: Starting at $21/hour

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, Friday - Tuesday 12:00-8:00pm

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, painting, repairing doors and locks, etc.
• Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment. Performs resets and simple repairs as necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs including campus snow removal.
• Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must have knowledge of HVAC.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision.
• Must possess the ability to effectively work with residents and staff.
