Job summary

Clarendale Six Corners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the condition of residential apartments and common areas through routine and response maintenance. The role requires hands-on work with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems, with an emphasis on safety and resident satisfaction.

You will respond to emergencies, complete work orders with detailed notes, and assist in campus projects and snow removal as needed while maintaining inventory and supplies for timely repair

Qualifications

• Residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• HVAC systems knowledge and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Ability to work under general supervision and complete tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including electrical, plumbing, fixtures, lighting, doors, and painting.
• Assists with HVAC system issues and performs resets or simple repairs as needed.
• Responds to emergency calls for system and equipment failures.
• Completes work orders promptly with detailed task and equipment information.
• Supports other maintenance staff on campus projects and snow removal when required.
• Maintains adequate supplies and materials to ensure timely task completion.

Clarnedale Six Corners is recruiting for Maintenance Technician. In this role you will be responsibleand accountable for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus.

Salary: Starting at $21/hour

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, Friday - Tuesday 12:00-8:00pm

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, painting, repairing doors and locks, etc.
• Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment. Performs resets and simple repairs as necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs including campus snow removal.
• Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must have knowledge of HVAC.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision.
• Must possess the ability to effectively work with residents and staff.
