Summary of Position

To ensure residents have a safe, comfortable, and attractive place to live by maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment and appliances, performing repairs promptly. Attendance is essential as this role impacts community operations and team communication.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Respond to residents’ service calls, including plumbing repairs, tile work, drywall repairs, and electrical switch repairs.

Occasional Functions

1. Mending fences, assisting with HVAC and refrigeration repairs, key cutting, trash pickup, lawn care, pool cleaning, carpet shampooing.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• General mechanical aptitude and prior experience.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle).
• EPA and HVAC certifications.
• Fair Housing Certification.

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Advanced training from trade or technical school.
• Experience as Service Manager for multi-unit property.

Physical Activities and Equipment Used

• Walking, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, stretching, climbing stairs/ladders, standing for periods.
• Exposure to weather, noise, dust, heat, chemicals, and mechanical equipment.
