Job summary

Federal Package Network in Chanhassen, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical and electrical components, ensuring precise, reliable equipment operation. The candidate will install pneumatic and electronic systems, fabricate parts, interpret schematics, and support inventory and procurement, while mentoring team members and upholding

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
  • Proficient in English language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk for most of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical components (gears, bearings, drives, gearboxes, timing systems).
  • Diagnose, repair, and install electronic systems including servo motors/drives, AC/DC motors, sensors, PLCs, computers, and control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and installation on pneumatic systems (compressors, logic circuits, actuators, sensors).
  • Fabricate parts and equipment using welding and machining techniques.
  • Interpret complex schematics, blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
  • Support building maintenance, procurement, and inventory of parts, tools, and materials.
  • Mentor others on basic equipment maintenance.
  • Use Redzone technology to optimize equipment performance and maintenance processes.
  • Follow all safety protocols and standardized work procedures.

What You’ll Do
