Job summary

Federal Package seeks a detail-oriented maintenance professional to inspect, diagnose, repair, and install mechanical and electronic systems. You will troubleshoot gears, drives, servo motors, PLCs, sensors, and pneumatic components while maintaining records.

You will follow safety protocols, mentor others, and use Redzone technology to optimize equipment performance. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2+ years' experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and basic MS Office skills.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Physical ability to stand/walk for most of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical components (gears, bearings, drives, gearboxes, timing systems).
  • Diagnose, repair, and install electronic systems including servo motors/drives, motors, sensors, PLCs, computers, and control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and installation on pneumatic systems (compressors, logic circuits, actuators, sensors).
  • Fabricate parts and equipment using welding and machining techniques.
  • Interpret complex schematics, blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
  • Support building maintenance, procurement, and inventory of parts, tools, and materials.
  • Mentor others on basic equipment maintenance.
  • Use Redzone technology to optimize equipment performance and maintenance processes.
  • Follow all safety protocols and standardized work procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical components (gears, bearings, drives, gearboxes, timing systems).
  • Diagnose, repair, and install electronic systems including servo motors/drives, AC/DC motors, sensors, PLCs, computers, and control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and installation on pneumatic systems (compressors, logic circuits, actuators, sensors).

What You Bring

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Effective communication skills and basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
  • Proficient in English language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk for most of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
