Job summary

The Liberty Group in California’s Carlsbad onsite communities is hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our onsite teams.

Pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must have 6+ months onsite apartment maintenance experience, valid government-issued ID, reliable transportation, and the tools needed for maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Own basic tools needed for maintenance work.
• Comfortable completing service requests and apartment turns (make-ready).

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform make-ready/turn repairs to prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Maintain common areas and community grounds as needed.
• Document work completed in maintenance logs.
• Prioritize multiple work orders and work independently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and onsite teams.

Preferred (not required)

• A/C / HVAC certification (EPA/CFC/HVAC) — pays more
• Strong make-ready/turn experience
• Related experience (hotel maintenance, rehab, condo, carpentry) only if you also have onsite apartment experience
