Role Overview :
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll join a full‑service maintenance team at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility, supporting daily repair and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds. The facility uses newer HVAC systems, which may require some additional training - training we provide to help you build confidence and skill in modern equipment. This Monday‑Friday role offers steady hours, strong safety practices, and hands‑on experience. We provide training for motivated individuals beginning or growing their maintenance careers, with a clear path for advancement into supervisory and leadership roles (Maintenance Technician → Maintenance Supervisor → Physical Plant Director).
