Job summary

Sotek, Inc. is seeking a full-time Machine Repair and Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machines and supporting equipment in our Southtowns facility. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose issues with complex machinery.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and documenting work while collaborating with production and engineering teams. High places work is part of the job, along with forklift operation and U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in machine repair/maintenance preferred.
• Experience in a machine shop environment preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Conduct safety checks on all equipment.
• Log all work performed accurately.

We are located in the Southtowns and are currently looking to fill the following Full-time industrial manufacturing positions (1st and 2nd shifts):

Machine Repair and Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of all machines and supporting equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include troubleshooting, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance
• Performs safety checks on all equipment
• Logs accurate account of all work completed.
• Responsible for researching and finding replacement parts
• All other duties as assigned by the Area Manager
• Able to collaborate with other team members such as production workers and engineering to help identify and resolve maintenance issues.

Job Requirements

• Comfortable working in high places
• Familiar with all shop operations
• Manual dexterity to manipulate small parts
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem solving ability
• Basic computer skills

Minimum Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Work experience in machine repair or maintenance
• Experience working in a machine shop environment preferred
• Certified to operate a forklift
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

$19-$30 per hr. Salary commensurate with experience
