Kelly is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a client at 1001 N Montello St, Brockton, MA 02301. This temporary-to-hire position offers early shifts and hands-on work with large production machinery.

You will perform preventive maintenance, service machines, and coordinate with the Plant Manager. Schedule is Monday–Thursday 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Friday 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Pay rate is $26–$32 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include medical and retirement options.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.

• Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Maintains shop areas, inventories, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance.
• Collaborates with plant personnel on new products and modifications.
• Implements tests and makes adjustments to machinery.

Kelly is hiring a Maintenance Technician for one of our prestigious clients located at 1001 N Montello St, Brockton, MA 02301.

Employment Type: Temporary-to-hire

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $26–$32 per hour, depending on experience

The Maintenance Technician will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery. You will report to the Plant Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling, as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; make additional alterations to machinery as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Performs ongoing facility maintenance in a manufacturing setting

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience preferred.
• Working with the maintenance dept, the plant manager, and electrician.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
