Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Fabricate equipment components, workstations, and fixtures.
  • Modify equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Respond to emergency situations outside regularly scheduled hours.
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Perform all small maintenance tasks.
  • Have general knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, motor controls, and conveyor systems.
Technical Skills
  • Pneumatics: Rebuild air valves, rebuild air cylinders, run air lines, repair air compressors, repair air guns and tools, work on hydraulic equipment.
  • Electrical: Troubleshoot all electrical problems, install electrical piping and wiring in a workmanship manner, run and install communication and data lines, thorough knowledge of NEC, size up wire and calculate circuits for proper installation, use Meggers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, circuit tracers, and laser temperature probes, knowledge of electrical installations and theory.
  • Welding: Able to use a MIG welder.
  • PLC: Experience preferred.
Additional Duties

Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Maintenance Supervisor.
