Job summary

A manufacturing company in Tupelo, Mississippi is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on various machines, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The successful candidate will have an associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC, along with relevant experience. Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in varying temperature conditions, are essential. This role may require mandatory overtime.

• Ability to read electrical diagram for troubleshooting
• Familiarity with p.m. programs (identify, documentation, procedures)
• Able to work in cold or hot conditions while maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to take instruction with a ‘can do’ attitude, but willing to ask questions as needed

Qualification & Education Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Experience – Relevant or similar experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Analytical Skills – Ability to read a plan and have the mental acuity to discern the proper procedure to follow for each unit.
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely, follow all safety rules and lead by example.
• Must be able to maintain good and regular attendance.
