Job summary

Maintenance Technician position in Plymouth, MI, is a first-shift role offering $31–$34 per hour with overtime available. The technician will support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.

Our client seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring workplace safety and operational efficiency.
