Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Plymouth, MI area client. The role supports production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment, focusing on troubleshooting, repair, installation and preventive maintenance of production equipment.

This 1st shift position offers $31–$33.65 per hour with overtime opportunities. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 2+ years of industrial maintenance, ability to read electrical schematics and lift up to 75 lbs; PLC,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
