Job summary

INH Properties seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to support our St. Cloud, MN communities. You will handle resident maintenance requests, perform general upkeep, painting, drywalling, and light electrical/plumbing tasks to keep properties in top condition.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, prior painting experience, and strong time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with painting preferred.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of light plumbing and electrical work (outlets, switches, fixtures).

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests.
• Handle miscellaneous maintenance tasks.
• Maintain grounds and perform snow removal.
• Perform janitorial duties to keep community looking impeccable.
• Respond to work orders promptly.
• Collaborate with team to prepare apartments for move-ins and maintain property standards.
• Clean and maintain common areas.
• Interior painting.
• All other duties to create a great living environment.

What We’re Looking For

INH Properties is seeking a full-time, mid-level experienced Maintenance Technician that will take pride in making our apartment community a great place to live!

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

When joining our team, you will play an important role by owning the following tasks:

Maintenance Technician

• Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
• Miscellaneous Maintenance
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal
• Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
• Responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
• Cleaning/Maintaining common areas
• Interior painting
• All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Driver's License
• Previous experience with painting
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of light plumbing and electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

Preferred But Not Required

• Experience in multi-family housing
• HVAC certification strongly preferred

Working Conditions

• This position will cover our properties in St. Cloud, MN.
• Hourly
• Full Time
• On-Call
