Job summary

Cypressbrook Multifamily Management in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems across our apartment communities, with a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units (HVAC).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Receives requests for service maintenance, prioritizes work orders, and handles each efficiently; may perform painting.
• May perform swimming pool maintenance or other facility tasks to meet standards.
• Adhere to safety rules and correct unsafe conditions promptly.
• Demonstrate ability to perform tasks without seeking outside contractor assistance.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary: Cypressbrook Multifamily Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Qualifications:

• Ability to work 40 hours per week; including on-call weekends and evenings during a rotating schedule
• HVAC Certified
• 1-3 years' experience in facility maintenance, and mechanical repair required. Apartments preferred
• Able to operate his/or her own vehicle for community needs, must have unexpired driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Successfully pass a drug and criminal background test

• Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and, federal safety rules
• Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner
• Demonstrate ability to perform tasks described above without seeking outside contractor assistance
