Job summary

4 Corner Resources is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a large fabrication and machine shop in Appleton, WI. This hands-on, multi-craft role focuses on keeping CNC machines, presses, brakes, and conveyors running while supporting building systems and office space maintenance.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read schematics and OEM manuals, and follow lockout/tagout and OSHA safety procedures on a Monday–Friday first shift.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and OEM manuals.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fabrication and machining equipment (CNC, presses, brakes, shears).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and perform precision work.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations using schematics and OEM manuals.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, including motors and drives.
• Support PLC troubleshooting and follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Maintain building systems (HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, lighting, doors, docks) and light office maintenance.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and confined space procedures as needed.

4 Corner Resources is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a large fabrication and machine shop in Appleton, WI.This is a hands-on, multi-craft role for someone who likes variety, from CNC machines and presses to building systems, on a steady Monday through Friday, 1st shift schedule.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fabrication and machining equipment, including CNC machines, presses, brakes, shears, weld cells, and material handling systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and perform precision work such as alignment, bearing replacement, and gearbox repair
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations using electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals
• Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, including motors, drives, starters, control circuits, sensors, and safety devices
• Support basic PLC troubleshooting and follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures
• Maintain building systems such as HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, lighting, doors, and docks, plus light maintenance in the office space
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations, including lockout/tagout, hot work, and confined space procedures as needed

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM documentation
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Maintenance Technician Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a fabrication, machine shop, or industrial manufacturing environment
• Facilities maintenance experience

Maintenance Technician Details:

• Location: Appleton, WI (onsite)
• Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday
• Pay Rate: $28 to $36 per hour, based on experience
