Job summary

Summit Products in Altoona, Iowa, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician. This role involves maintaining operational equipment and facility infrastructure, performing PM repairs, and managing maintenance reporting systems.

• Technically sound and hands‑on in troubleshooting Manufacturing machines
• Experience with PM’s (Preventative Maintenance Program)
• Knowledge of steel fabrication a plus
• Ability to read blueprints
• Plumbing experience required
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally
• Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work‑related problems
• MUST be able to show up to work on time with a positive attitude and willingness to work with a TEAM
