Job summary

Robert Bosch Group, Power Solutions Division, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Albion, Indiana, to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and building systems. This is a multi-skilled role requiring independent work and strong problem-solving.

You will work with hydraulic injection molding machines, drives, motors, belts, and electrical components, performing preventive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Four years related experience and/or training in maintenance.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and building systems.
• Maintains and repairs hydraulic injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance (drives, motors, belts, filters) and predictive actions.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems using blueprints, manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Repairs machines and electrical components using testing devices.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and programmable controllers.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and housekeeping (5-S).

Job Description

Under limited supervision, the Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled, multi-craft technician who works independently and uses judgement to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and building systems.

• Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, hydraulic injection molding machines and ancillary equipment. Uses blueprints, manuals, and verbal instructions to troubleshoot difficulties and take corrective actions.
• Performs preventive maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other predictive maintenance actions.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Repairs machines, equipment, or building systems, using equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Repairs machines, equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools or power tools. Provides support of die maintenance and troubleshooting roll forming equipment. Installs, programs, and repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
• Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree in technical field is preferred.

Four years related experience and/or training; with experience in all phases of maintenance (ie: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, etc. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
