Summary
Under general supervision in a manufacturing environment, responsible for the installation, repair, adjustment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure. This position requires a proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Perform electrical, painting, carpentry, and general facility repairs involving fixtures, equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation, relocation, modification, and reinstallation of new and existing equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility production support systems, including air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems, and associated equipment.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and assessments to support proposed equipment installations, modifications, and facility improvements.
- Update mechanical drawings, prints, and facility documentation to accurately reflect approved modifications and changes.
- Maintain and service air conditioning, ventilation, and related HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and established maintenance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for facility and equipment improvements and submit proposals and recommendations to the department supervisor for review and approval.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for Facilities Management equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment and facility systems and perform routine inspections to identify current and potential maintenance requirements.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities in accordance with established Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensure all work is accurately documented.
- Monitor facility equipment and systems to identify developing issues and take proactive corrective action to minimize equipment failures and operational disruptions.
- Follow all applicable company, safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements associated with the position.
- Comply with all applicable company security policies, procedures, and access requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three to five years of experience in facility maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a related technical field, or demonstrated technical skills and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Working knowledge of facility maintenance practices, equipment, and building systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems or other maintenance tracking software.
- Experience with building automation and facility management systems.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Electricial experience or electrical certification.
- HVAC experience or applicable HVAC certification.
- Licensed plumber or applicable plumbing certification.
- Lockout/Tagout training and experience.
- Scissor lift operation experience.
- Electric pallet jack experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives.
- Experience operating and maintaining air compressors up to 50 to 250 HP.
- Experience operating and maintaining vacuum systems up to 25 HP.
- Experience operating and maintaining air dryers up to 50 to 250 HP.
