Job summary

Mr. Greens is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility and equipment upkeep across warehouse, distribution, refrigeration, and building systems. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety and food-safety standards.

You will perform inspections, repairs, and installations, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring reliable operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, conveyors, dock doors, pallet jacks, and other operational machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment and machinery.
• Perform building maintenance including painting, lighting repairs, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work areas.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary.
• Support operational needs during peak business periods and special projects.
