Job summary

Mr. Greens seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, facilities, and building systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will support warehouse, distribution, refrigeration, and facility operations while minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards. This role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse or industrial setting, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, conveyors, dock doors, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary.
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance records.
• Support with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety requirements.

Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, facilities, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports warehouse, distribution, refrigeration, and facility operations by minimizing downtime and maintaining compliance with company safety standards.

Accountabilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, conveyors, dock doors, pallet jacks, and other operational machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with installation, modification, and relocation of equipment and machinery.
• Perform building maintenance including painting, lighting repairs, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work areas.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary.
• Support operational needs during peak business periods and special projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Physical Demands/ Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various warehouse environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and non-climate-controlled environments.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Warehouse and distribution center environment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas.
• Occasional overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins may be required based on business needs.
