Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical plant, perform preventive maintenance, and handle repairs under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Technical schooling preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in construction/maintenance.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Skilled in the use of machinery, tools, and construction supplies.
• Understanding of general construction and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of the physical plant under supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Complete work orders daily.
• Paint and refurbish as directed.
• Install locks and manage keys for the campus.
• Troubleshoot and install communication systems (PERS, phone, cable, network).
• Repair plumbing and lighting fixtures and appliances.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems.
