Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician L1 to deliver maintenance and reliability services in the Mars Hill facility.

You will execute preventive and corrective maintenance, perform technical troubleshooting, install equipment, and participate in process improvement projects to support asset health and KPI targets. The role requires a self-starter attitude, compliance with Safety, Food Safety & Quality policies, and availability for weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and P&ID diagrams.
• Experience with SAP is preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and reliability services, including preventive and corrective tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and install or startup equipment.
• Participate in reliability and quality processes to improve asset health.
• Adhere to safety, food safety and GMP policies; work weekends and holidays as needed.
