Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pedricktown, NJ to perform preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
The role requires mechanical/industrial maintenance experience in the food manufacturing sector, strong electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This on-site permanent position offers competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; mechanical trade preferred.
- Experience as a production/industrial mechanic in food industry is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical on multiple voltages and read prints.
Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical and preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
- Maintains records of repairs, parts inventory, and modifications.
- Assists with setup and movement of equipment during changeovers.
- Maintains tools and shop in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
- Provides emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Reads manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
- Uses varied hand and power tools and meters; adheres to safety regulations.
