Job summary

Standard Locknut is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair machinery in the Tool Room. You will support production efficiency by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical systems daily.

The role requires reading manuals and schematics, operating CNC controls, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to reduce downtime and improve reliability. This is an hourly position focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Identify and address mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
• Disassemble devices, inspect parts, and fabricate repair components as needed.
• Inspect parts for dimensional changes using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document maintenance actions, results, and recommended improvements.
