Job summary

Axalta in Orrville, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain plant electrical, instrumentation and mechanical systems to support production. You will oversee new equipment installations, operate air compressors, nitrogen generators, and cooling systems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires basic PLC knowledge, welding and pipefitting skills, and a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to self-manage and adapt quickly to changing demands.
• Ability to operate safely and within site guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems to support production.
• Oversee installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems.
• Operate and maintain equipment, air compressors, nitrogen generators, and cooling water systems.
• Complete work orders as prioritized by Maintenance Planner and Production Manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain logs and inventory records.
