Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a science-related field is preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and troubleshooting control systems.
• Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in production facilities.
• Diagnose breakdowns and execute repairs to minimize downtime.
• Set up and dismantle machines; manage changeovers as needed.
• Maintain records of performance, repairs, and downtime using PMs in SAP/PC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety (GMP/HACCP) standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on work orders and special projects.
• Monitor and adjust equipment according to blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Assist in monitoring outside contractors and building systems upkeep.
• Operate within expense limits and communicate issues via handheld radios.
