EmployBridge in Louisville, KY is hiring a Plastics Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate extrusion equipment, monitor quality, perform routine maintenance, and strictly follow safety procedures on site.

The weekly schedule alternates: first week 3 days on and 4 off; second week 4 days on and 3 off; then repeats. The role requires excellent attendance, the ability to stand for long periods, forklift operation, and willingness to train for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent safety record and attendance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adaptability.
• Excellent math and mechanical aptitude.
• Team oriented and able to collaborate.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Overtime availability and training shifts.
• Experience with SAP/MS Office/Lotus Notes desired.
• Forklift operation ability required.
• Two-year technical degree, electrical preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate plastics extrusion equipment and monitor quality.
• Maintain safety and good attendance on shift.
• Assist with PLCs and solve process issues.
• Cover peers during training or shortages.
• Drive forklift and handle materials as needed.
