Job summary

Sealed Air in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to provide electrical and mechanical support for a foam extrusion operation. The role focuses on PLC-based controls, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and installation or upgrade of equipment to meet stringent manufacturing specs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in PLCs/electrical systems, mechanical aptitude, and experience with bulk material handling.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Plastics extrusion process experience or similar equipment preferred.
Electrical experience is required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Allen-Bradley PLC systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial controls.
Perform preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Maintain and repair bulk material handling systems: hoppers, loaders, and vacuum transport.
Calibrate sensors and control devices to meet precise manufacturing specs.
Install, modify, and upgrade equipment per engineering specs.
Rebuild mechanical components and perform precision adjustments.
Document maintenance in CMMS and SAP.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
Maintain safe working conditions and follow safety protocols.
