Job summary

A leading energy company in Tennessee seeks a maintenance worker responsible for various tasks including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work. The role requires the ability to work under stress, maintain high attendance standards, and train new employees. Candidates must be resourceful and self-starters, supporting Health and Safety Policies diligently. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to lift weights and must provide their own tools.

Qualifications

• Able to work at height from a ladder or lift, have own tools.
• Must possess and maintain an excellent work and attendance record.
• Must actively support Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work to maintain buildings.
• Train other employees (new hires or transfers).
• Perform inventory control duties with maintenance material parts.

Activités

• Work well with others, possess a willingness to learn and share his/her knowledge with others, able to work under stress
• Understanding the urgency to reduce downtime
• Must be able to work without direct supervision, must be resourceful and a self –starter
• Must possess and maintain an excellent work and attendance record
• Lift 35 lbs frequently throughout the work shift, up to 75lbs on occasion
• Maintain good attendance as well as qualitative and quantitative performance standards
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work to maintain buildings.
• Perform inventory control duties with maintenance material parts
• Perform other duties as may be assigned
• Practice safety and environmental awareness at all times on the job and on company property, including parking lot
• Other duties as needed.
• Must actively support our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately report all dangerous situations and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE.
