Job summary
Triton Metal Products, a manufacturer of precision metal components, seeks a Maintenance Technician for night shift (8 pm–6 am) in Hamilton, IN. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep production running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, hands-on experience with fabrication equipment (press brakes, CNCs, lasers, welders), and a strong commitment to safety
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, controls, and pneumatic expertise.
- Expertise with manufacturing equipment repairs.
- Proficiency with preventative maintenance.
- Experience with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance-related software.
- Experience repairing fabrication machinery such as press brakes, CNC machines, lasers, welders, powder coat line.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, buildings, and systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and electrical problems and repair as needed.
- Inspect, test, and repair defective equipment parts and machinery.
- Follow checklists, replace filters, and manage drives, belts, and fluids.
- Create maintenance records and track costs and service history.
- Coordinate outsourced repairs with suppliers and technicians.
- Research parts and obtain quotes from vendors.
- Follow industrial electrical codes and OSHA safety regulations.

Maintenance Technician- Night shift 8 pm-6 am
Triton Metal Products, a distinguished leader in the metal fabrication industry, is renowned for crafting precision metal components and structures. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a detail-driven, analytical, and skilled Maintenance Technician to solve complex technical problems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and motor controls, and electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Inspect, operate, and test defective equipment parts, machinery, and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and repair machinery.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
- Create maintenance record sheets for equipment. Record service, repairs, part replacements, costs, and machine maintenance information.
- Coordinate, schedule, and oversee outsourced repair work with suppliers and manufacturer service technicians.
- Research parts, equipment, vendors, and OEMs to obtain quotes for needed parts and equipment.
- Be familiar with industrial electrical codes and regulations and OSHA safety regulations.
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Maintenance experience within manufacturing
- Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, controls, and pneumatic expertise
- Expertise with manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency with preventative maintenance
- Experience with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance-related software equipment
- Experience repairing fabrication machinery, such as:
- Press brake, CNC machines, Flat and Tube lasers, Welders (robotic and Manual), Powder coat line)
- High School Diploma
- GED includes additional industrial maintenance education
- Must be motivated and willing to come in early or stay over to achieve production and maintenance goals
- Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in and help fellow team members achieve production goals
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented and thorough
