You will perform mechanical, electrical, and basic welding tasks, operate milling and band saw equipment, and work in a team to meet production needs.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Pay: Pay will be based on level and experience. Accepting applicants in the career path level I, II, or III.

Job Summary

Responsible for machine maintenance to ensure the machines are operating correctly.

• Have a good understanding of manufacturing equipment and how it works
• Basic electrical safety and some skills to fix common electrical issues
• Basic welding and fabrication skills and the safety surrounding that equipment
• Be able to safely operate machine centered equipment
• Familiarity with a form of MMS software
• Understand production needs
• Maintain a clean work area and tools
• Maintain and utilize a milling machine and a band saw

• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can lower rolls of plastic film to the floor and pick them up with a power lift and place on machine
• Be able to push, pull, squat, bend or reach 80% of the workday
• Be able to handle, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
• Have eye/hand/foot coordination
• Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to 90+ depending on the season and the department
