Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a local property management team in Waco and surrounding areas. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance, address work orders, and ensure vacant units are ready for new residents.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing, basic tools, reliable transportation, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation.
• HVAC certification or EPA Universal certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep on apartment units, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance work.
• Complete work orders efficiently and document services performed.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections; prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and emergency requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and inventory.
• Assist in maintaining landscaping, pools, and exterior areas when needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, office staff, and management regarding repair timelines and updates.
