Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that the assigned department operates without disruption and aligns with OSHGA safety standards. You will plan preventive maintenance, resolve issues, and support overall site upkeep.

The ideal candidate has 11+ years in mechanical/electrical manufacturing, plumbing, and structures, with PLC/HMI knowledge and schematic-reading skills to troubleshoot electronics and control systems. Weekend/shift flexibility is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 11+ years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience.
  • 20+ years in plumbing, electrical, and structures.
  • Experience with and oversight of maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of equipment including machinery, buildings, computer systems, safety and security systems.
  • Hydraulic systems; electro-mechanical processing background.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and to test electronics.
  • Understanding AC/DC differences when troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Implement preventive maintenance scheduling and execution.
  • Perform timely corrective maintenance actions.
  • Maintain and support site equipment and facilities.
  • Document issues and create new work orders when needed.

Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Master Level- responsible for ensuring that the assigned department(s) are maintained in good working order in a manner that prevents disruption of the site’s operation and in accordance with OSHGA safety standards.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The Maintenance Technician ensures implementation of short- and long-term strategies for preventive maintenance scheduling and execution, for timely corrective maintenance actions, and for general site maintenance needs.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:· 11+ years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience· 20+ years in plumbing, electrical, and structures· Experience with and oversees and participates in the maintenance· Knowledge of equipment including machinery, building, computer systems, safety and security systems· hydraulic systems· Strong background in electro-mechanical process· Must be resourceful and apply critical thinking skills in problem solving· Knowledge and understanding functions of how boiler’s operation and maintenance· Some experience of automatic processing system· Ability to operate a computer using MD Products· Physically capable and available to work some weekends and/or varied shifts· Some knowledge of PLC’s and HMIs· Document any issue and create new work ordersa. PLC, capable of edits, design, and repairb. Understanding of how to adjust the programc. Review technical drawings, and schematicsd. Testing electronics and basic digital electronicse.
