Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in Port Saint Lucie, FL, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our community team. You will perform basic repairs, general grounds and lawn maintenance for homes owned by the community and handle routine work orders and make-ready tasks.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring high levels of tenant and vendor service. The role may require on-call duties and physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds and

Qualifications

• Experience in general property maintenance and preventative maintenance on a community or complex.
• Ability to perform make-ready work to prepare vacant units for leasing or move-ins.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Valid operator’s license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris.
• Document work orders accurately to ensure proper tracking.
