Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facilities. You will support planning, scheduling and maintenance of water treatment, refrigeration, boilers and related systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred; Mechatronics certs helpful.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia/HVAC and refrigerant systems.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, LOTO and Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, scheduling and maintenance activities.
• Maintains water treatment, refrigeration, boiler functions and related equipment.
• Keeps regulatory and compliance records for all systems.
• Performs routine and emergency maintenance in a multi-craft environment.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and timely work order completion.
• Performs other duties as required by Maintenance Manager.
• Upholds 200% safety accountability.
