SCO Family of Service in Sea Cliff, NY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee painting, repairs, and building systems across the facility.

The role requires 5 years of maintenance or supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, on-call evening shifts, and up to 50% travel to support properties. Applicants must pass background checks and Mantoux health clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and or related supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Registry, Driver’s License and fingerprinting as required by program.
• Compliance with health regulations for physical/Mantoux testing.

Responsabilités

• Painting and repairing walls, ceilings and common areas.
• Maintain building systems and perform repairs on boilers, HWH, and appliances.
• Respond to heating and cooling complaints.
• On-call work 3 PM–11 PM for Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun; off Tue/Wed.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Facility Manager.
• Travel up to 50% for support and inspections.

• Painting and repairing walls, ceilings and common areas.
• Technical Knowledge (building systems, repairs) Boilers, HWH, appliances.
• Problem-Solving, critical thinking.
• Communicationwith team and upper management.
• Plumbing, electric, appliance repairs, floor striping & waxing, etc.
• Snow removal, storm response and preparation.

Qualifications:

• High School Education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and or related supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Registry, Driver’s License and fingerprinting as required by program.
• Compliance with health regulations for physical/Mantoux testing.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to Maintenance Supervisor & Facility Manager
• Must be available for work on call, it requires physical work and operating equipment. Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3 PM to 11 PM (Off Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, or bend climb stairs
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and require assistance if limit is exceeded.
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or bend.

***The position requires extensive painting work and prioritizes responding to heating and cooling complaints.
