Encore at Wilmington is seeking a Maintenance Tech responsible for upkeep of residential apartments and public areas across campus. You will perform repairs, respond to malfunctions, and assist with preventive maintenance to ensure safe, comfortable living environments.
The role requires hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance. A High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a similar setting are preferred. On-call overtime may be required.
Tuesday - Saturday 8am-4pm
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus.

Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to,
plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances. Must have knowledge of HVAC.
Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff. Must function under general supervision. Must be flexible and have integrity. Must possess the ability of effectively work with residents and staff.
High School or GED. Possess 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building construction or maintenance.
