Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to service guest rooms and common areas across our properties in Hawaii. You will respond to repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate with guests and Owners to resolve issues, while applying advanced engineering skills and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will handle meter readings, inventory tasks, and participate in ongoing safety and technical training to support memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Communicates with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues.
• Displays advanced engineering operations skills, mechanical ability, and troubleshooting of building systems.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Reads, logs, tracks, and interprets readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $42.92

Hourly Wage: $42.92

Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

As a Maintenance Technician IV, a typical day will include:

• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.

To Become a Maintenance Technician IV at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance .
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
