Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Sedona, AZ property. You will assist in providing Owners and guests with memorable experiences by performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and responding to repair requests.

This role requires working 1st or 2nd shift, weekend and holiday availability, and a valid driver’s license. OSHA/safety training and on-site duties are part of daily operations; opportunities for growth and full-time benefits are offered.

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks (e.g., basic painting, basic repairs like replacing lightbulbs).
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Participates in regular safety, technical knowledge, and career development training.

As a Maintenance Technician I, a typical day will include:

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned (i.e., Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs). Performs temperature readings on appliances/HVAC, etc.
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs general engineering‑related inventory duties.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

To Become a Maintenance Technician I At HVC

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
