Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Orlando is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support Owners and guests by addressing repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting building systems.

This role requires flexibility across shifts, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to undergo background and drug screening. MVW offers competitive pay and onsite perks, including parking, discounts, and apparel provisions.

Responsibilities

• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Communicates with guests/owners to resolve maintenance issues.
• Displays above-average engineering operations skills and general mechanical ability.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting of building systems.
• Reads, logs, tracks, and interprets readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

As a Maintenance Technician III, a typical day will include:

To Become a Maintenance Technician III at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance .
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
