Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee shifts, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure reliable operation of kitchen, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment at our resort properties. You will lead associates, inspect systems, and uphold safety standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull items up to 75 lbs without assistance.
  • Background and drug screening contingent on policy.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Installs and maintains appliances, electronics, and equipment.
  • Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled.
  • Performs preventative maintenance for all kitchen equipment according to standard.
  • Monitors resort sprinkler systems to ensure accordance with company policy and local code.
  • Inspects, repairs, and maintains HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.

Typical Day Responsibilities
  • Performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.

Requirements to Become a Lead Maintenance Technician at MVW
  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 75lbs without assistance.
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
