Job summary

You will join a team that handles preventative maintenance and responds to 24/7 maintenance calls. Two years of hotel maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with hotel maintenance tasks.
• Two years in hotel maintenance with painting, mechanical, plumbing, and minor electronic repairs.
• Excellent communication both written and oral.
• Experience with or ability to learn computer maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and explain architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic services and simple repairs for rooms, public spaces, offices, back of house spaces, and grounds in and around hotels and conference centers.
• Handle painting, light mechanical, plumbing, and minor electronic repairs; move furniture and equipment.
• Assist other maintenance staff and respond to maintenance calls involving HVAC, plumbing, ceilings, walls, floors, pools, and lighting.
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage as scheduled and be available for nights, weekends, and emergency shifts.
• Ensure safety, report hazards, and perform preventive maintenance and small installations as assigned.
