Job summary
Daybreak Foods in Lake Mills, WI seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician III (Electrical Controls Specialist) to maintain and optimize highly automated production equipment. Qualifications
- Education in industrial maintenance or related field with hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with PLCs, HMI software, and automation equipment in a GMP environment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and install/commission automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on automated equipment.
- Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment and monitor ladder logic programs.
- Maintain PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley/Siemens) and HMI systems; ensure safe operation.
- Calibrate sensors, motors, VFDs, and control panels; update documentation.
- Install and commission new automation equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and GMP standards; keep CMMS records.
