Job summary

Lamb Weston in Quincy, WA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance III to support plant-wide maintenance functions under limited supervision. The role involves designing control circuits, troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems, and wiring installations in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Qualifications

• Read, draw and edit electrical and electronic schematics.
• Proficient at sheet metal layout, fabrication and installation.
• Equipment repair, overhaul and trouble shooting.
• Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral.
• Must be able to communicate using plant 2-way radio system.

Responsibilities

• Design control circuits.
• Troubleshoot complicated electrical and electronic systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs with PC programming equipment.
• Calibrate and repair plant electrical and electronic equipment such as read-outs, controllers and recorders.
• Troubleshoot and repair computer terminals, solid state control boards, variable frequency controllers, pneumatic actuators, PLCs.
• Run conduit and wiring per NEC.
• Assist with start-up and shut-down of plant equipment.
• Plan and implement new equipment installations.
• Pull wire, install conduit, light fixtures, and other electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot low and high voltage systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
