Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Maintenance Technician III in Newark, NJ to maintain and repair conveyors, automation, robotics, and refrigeration. You will support uptime, troubleshoot issues, document in CMMS, and mentor team members in mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration areas.

Requirements include 3–5 years on related equipment, ability to read schematics, and travel up to 5%. We offer competitive pay, 401K match, generous PTO, health benefits from day one, and employee resource groups.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience maintaining conveyors, automation, robotics and refrigeration.
• Ability to read and understand basic schematics.
• Travel up to 5% for business needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; mechatronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety, food safety and security standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and escalate to leadership or vendors as needed.
• Document work in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Mentor maintenance personnel to develop skills and knowledge.
• Lead root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Be a network resource for technical issues and participate in RCA.
• Support building project work as assigned.
